Kim Kardashian Advocates for Prison Reform with Infamous Inmates Amid Controversy Over New Netflix Series

Kim Kardashian recently visited the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility near San Diego to discuss prison reform with a group of inmates, including Erik and Lyle Menéndez. Accompanied by her sister Khloe and mom Kris Jenner, along with film producer Scott Budnick and actor Cooper Koch, who portrays Erik in the Netflix series "Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story," Kim aimed to highlight her advocacy for criminal justice reform.

One key topic was Greenspace, an initiative led by Lyle Menéndez focused on improving prison yards to aid inmate rehabilitation. This visit comes shortly after Erik criticized Ryan Murphy's series, calling it a "naive and inaccurate" portrayal of the brothers' infamous case. He argued that the show unfairly omitted their claims of childhood abuse.

The Menéndez brothers are serving life sentences for the 1989 murders of their parents. Kim's connection to Ryan Murphy, with whom she recently collaborated on "American Horror Story," raises questions about any potential awkwardness during the meeting, given Erik's comments.
