Diddy Off Suicide Watch After Family Visit, Prepares for High-Stakes Trial

Sean 'Diddy' Combs has reportedly been taken off suicide watch after a visit from his family at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. The music mogul, arrested on September 16, is currently facing serious charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution. According to law enforcement sources, Combs is no longer subject to mental health precautions.

His lawyer recently spoke to *People*, sharing that Combs is focused, strong, and fully preparing his defense for the upcoming trial. He is reportedly determined to fight the charges, concentrating on the legal battle ahead.

Combs is being held in the same area of the Brooklyn Detention Center as FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, a section known for its dangerous and understaffed conditions. The facility houses around 1,600 inmates.

The charges against Combs stem from disturbing allegations involving forced sexual performances, which federal authorities have labeled as "freak-offs." These alleged sessions were reportedly arranged by Combs himself, with some of them lasting for days and leaving victims in need of medical attention. It is claimed that drugs such as cocaine, ketamine, and oxycodone were used to intimidate women into participating. Authorities also reportedly seized three AR-15 rifles and 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant during raids on his homes in Los Angeles and Miami earlier this year.

After his arrest, Combs’ legal team proposed a $50 million bail package, which was ultimately denied by the court. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, recently told TMZ that Combs is eager to testify and tell his side of the story when his trial begins.

If convicted, Combs could face life in prison. His next court appearance is set for October 9.
