Beyoncé Snubbed at People’s Choice Country Awards Despite 17 Nominations

Beyoncé faced a surprising setback at the People's Choice Country Awards, receiving 17 nominations but not winning a single award. Despite being up for significant categories like People's Artist, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Female Artist, she walked away empty-handed.

Her country album, "Cowboy Carter," has enjoyed commercial success, rivaling releases by Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish. However, this financial achievement hasn't translated into accolades.

During the event, Shaboozey, who won Best New Artist and collaborated with Beyoncé on "Cowboy Carter," gave her a shoutout in his acceptance speech, praising her as "amazing."

Despite this recognition, it appears voters aren’t acknowledging Beyoncé's contributions to country music, as she was also overlooked at the 2024 CMA Awards.
