Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez Near Property Settlement Amid $64M Home Sale

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are nearing the final stages of their divorce settlement, including resolving property matters. According to sources, the couple’s massive 38,000-square-foot home in Beverly Hills almost sold for $64 million. A couple from New Jersey made the offer, which was accepted, but a family death caused them to back out of escrow. However, they remain interested in the property.

Even at $64 million, Affleck and Lopez may still face financial losses. They originally paid $61 million for the house in May 2023 and invested millions in renovations. After accounting for realtor fees and a 5.25% mansion tax, they’re not walking away with much profit. Despite paying cash for the home initially, the couple later took out a $20 million mortgage.

On Monday, Affleck and Lopez were spotted at their office on the Sunset Strip with Laura Wasser, a well-known divorce attorney, who is mediating their property settlement.
