Artem Chigvintsev Avoids Prosecution in Domestic Violence Case

Artem Chigvintsev will not face prosecution following his recent arrest on suspicion of felony domestic violence. His attorney, Dmitry Gorin of Eisner Gorin LLP, stated that Chigvintsev has always maintained his innocence and is thankful that the district attorney decided against filing charges. He emphasized that Chigvintsev values his community's support and requests privacy as he navigates his ongoing divorce. Chigvintsev is committed to his son, Matteo, and looks forward to a positive future both as a father and in his career.

The Napa County District Attorney, Allison Haley, announced that after reviewing the evidence related to Chigvintsev's arrest on August 29, her office concluded it could not prove that a crime had been committed beyond a reasonable doubt. While charges have not been filed, the DA indicated that new evidence could lead to future charges.

Chigvintsev was arrested after an incident involving alleged injury to a spouse or partner. Although the identity of the alleged victim was not confirmed, he was living with Nikki Bella, whom he married and shares a four-year-old son with at the time of the arrest. Following the incident, Bella filed for divorce and removed her wedding ring, and the couple is currently engaged in disputes over child custody and spousal support.
